As the morning dun rises a whistling sound can be heard… most have heard this sound and welcome it… others fear it and hate it. When the whistling stops No one can see the image at all… then as they shrug and go to walk away fire erupts at the city gates as a red dragon tries to break through his wings had been severed off. The guards fall from the heat and perished. When the dragon enters the gates he sees in the morning fog a red glare from eyes unknown. No one could see the image and only a few can say they know who it is. The dragon rears up to blow flames at the image but is met by a fireball greater then anyone has seen. Tearing the dragon to pieces as it hits it. As the dust settled the guards rushed the square to find no trace of the dragon but ash and no one has seen the image after the attack. He had flown out using the fog as a cover from anyone who would attack him. As he landed in the forest, his home he gives a sigh to what happened that gave him such power and such hate against him…

A quiet night in a small elven town an elf young to there standards, only 90, walks out to the forest and kneels down carving an image in a tree showing a large dragon with its wings spread fling. He was keen with everything around him. He loved to play in the woods with his friends. Later that night the battle horns blew loud as the small town went up in flames. The elven fought hard but couldn’t defeat this dragon. It killed everything but the young elf, Drikon. It walked up to this elf and seemed to speak where the elf could understand “you seem to have a passion in the balance of all creatures including us dragons.” The young elf backed up but was lifted and taken to a near by hill where he say from above his village in smoke and ash “your people were against the balance they wanted it to be on there side” Drikon just listened trapped with nowhere to go “you will see to this balance or else I may have to rip it from your heart as well” the dragon then slapped the back of Drikon with its tail and flew off. As he was able to stand he looked on feeling trapped and he walked to a city… and found himself attacked as he tried to enter. Lost and confused he found a shack and tried to sleep in it but couldn’t because something was on his back. He looked at a mirror and saw red wings. He trained finding all the powers he could and watched over everything and was deemed by the druids and rangers the Dragon Guardian.

Looking at the carvings at the tree he remembers that… and he knows soon his final test will come when he faces that dragon… and gets the weight of guilt off his shoulders
