the quest giver will not give me the 3rd quest.  he mentions some things about it, then the conversation breaks.

and another thing:  i cannot click on any of the miscelaneous tabs of any of the merchants.  if i do, the game crashes.  this is after my incident with the fish meat has been fixed.  i cannot do it with any of my characters, but if i go to another server it works fine.  if i do click the tab, the game crashes.

The thieves guild is fixed.

I'm not sure about your issue with the merchants.  I'm not aware of anyone else having that problem.

Does it crash if you use a new character before you equip any equipment?  If so it should generate an error log in neverwinter directory.  Email that to me.

i found a post in the NWN forums about this ... perhaps there is fix in there ... I suggest looking it up there ...
