Should we set the server so that AOE spells like fireballs will hurt party memembes as well?

I think Full PVP will make alot more people think before they cast...

plus it actually promotes use of strategy and the what not.  also, not 100% sure on this, but i think party prevents stealing from party members, which is a big no no, cause i usually consider party members walking talking backpacks Smiley  (of course, i would never steal from you)

I think it should be PARTY protected PvP. It's really frustrating to cast spells in a big battle if it hurts party members.
And it's not fun for the other players either...

It's true however, that it makes people think about their tactics.
But when it comes to keeping more players on the server, PARTY PvP is the safest choice.

If you suspect that Party PvP makes it too easy, there are always other ways to compensate it, for example by clever area and monster design.

I don't know if you are planning a custom script of some kind, but normally full PvP would also make it possible to accidently use knockdown on party members in a crowded battle (or other similar battle feats).

My preference for full PvP is that it is simply more realistic.

I like the reality of full PVP ... if as a cleric I can heal party members, I should be able to hurt them as well ... this also tends to foster tactics, like I will go and cast this and this BEFORE you enter ... then we all go and we do this ... kinda thing ... that will keep people notorious for being stupid and casting AOE spells that hurt everyone but them ... I know I am guitly of it ... my excuse was that I didn't know what the spell did (lame, I know) ... but I learned in a hurry ...
